Stockton Hires John Bancheri as Head Rowing Coach

(December 4th) - Stockton University has named John Bancheri as its first full-time head rowing coach. Bancheri has nearly 35 years of collegiate coaching experience.

Marietta Men Take Top Two Spots in JV 8 at Bill Braxton Memorial Regatta

(November 11th) - Marietta's men finished one-two in the men's collegiate JV eight at the Bill Braxton Memorial Regatta.

Marietta Men, Catholic Women Garner Medals at Head of the Occoquan; Shoremen Novices Shine Again

(November 4th) - Marietta's men won four medals Saturday at the Head of the Occoquan, including a bronze in the men's varsity eight and silver in the men's varsity four. Catholic's women, meanwhile, rowed to a silver medal in the women's novice eight at the same regatta. Elsehwere this weekend, the Washington College men's novices were impressive at the Head of the Hooch.

Shoremen Novices Impress at Head of Schuylkill, Ohio Wesleyan Makes Debut

(October 27th) - Washington College placed seventh of 22 crews in the men's college frosh/noice eight at the Head of the Schuylkill, finishing behind only crews from Division I schools and ahead of several crews from Division I schools. Elsewhere, Ohio Wesleyan competed as a varsity program for the first time at Marietta's Muskie Chase. Marietta won both the men's eights and men's fours, edging out first-year program and MARC rival Adrian.

MARC Crews Compete at Head of the Charles

(October 21st) - Crews from Bryn Mawr, Franklin & Marshall, and Marietta competed at the Head of the Charles Sunday. The top finish by a MARC crew belonged to Franklin & Marshall, whose women's collegiate four placed 14th amog 40 boats.

Catholic, F&M Impress at Occoquan Chase

(October 14th) - Catholic's fledgling rowing programs got off to an impressive start at the Occoquan Chase, winning the men's and women's novice eights. F&M's women, meanwhile, won the women's varsity four.

Adrian Impressive in Varsity Debut

(October 7th) - Adrian College's men's and women's teams were impressive in their varsity debuts at Rowtoberfest on Saturday. The Bulldog men were first and second in the three-boat men's collegiate four and first and third in the four-boat men's collegiate eight. The Bluudog women, meanwhile, were second eighth in the nine-boat women's collegiate four and fourth in the women's collegiate eight. Elsewhere this weekend, the Washington College men won a pair of novice races at the Occoquan Challenge.

Johnson & Wales Wins First Home Regatta

(September 23rd) - Johnson & Wales was the first MARC team to compete this fall and opened the season by hosting - and winning - its first-ever home regatta, against Massachusetts Maritime.

Lindgren-Streicher Tapped as New Head Coach at St. Mary's

(August 24th) - Anna Lindgren-Streicher, a 14-year veteran of collegiate rowing coaching, has been announced as the new head men's and women's rowing coach at St. Mary's.

MARC Welcomes Three New Member Schools for 2018-19

(July 1st) - The Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference welcomes three new member schools for the 2018-19 academic year - Adrian College, Catholic University, and Ohio Wesleyan University. All three schools are offering rowing at the varsity level for the first time. Adrian and Catholic are sponsoring programs on both the men's and women's sides of the conference, while Ohio Wesleyan will be offering a women's varsity program. With 12 competing institutions on the women's side stretching from Rhode Island to Illinois to Virginia, the MARC is the largest conference in Division III women's rowing, both in number of schools and in geographic area.

Washington College Places Eighth at NCAA Division III Championship

(May 26th) - Representing the MARC at the NCAA Division III Championship for the sixth consecutive year, the Washington College women placed eighth in the overall team standings.

Washington College, Army Win MARC Championships

(April 24th) - Due to ongoing thunderstorms, the finals of the men's and women's varsity eights at today's MARC Championships were canceled and heat times were used to determine points for those events. Washington College won its sixth consecutive MARC Women's Championship and NCAA Division III Championships bed, while Army won the MARC Men's Championship.
